Acrobatic 6 to 18 years
Ballet 3 and older - This program is offered for Adults (17+)
Contemporary 9 to 18 years
Hip Hop 6 and older - This program is offered for Adults (17+)
Jazz 6 and older - This program is offered for Adults (17+)
Jazz/Tap 3 to 5 years
Lyrical 9 to 18 years
Musical Theatre 6 to 18 years
Parent & Tot 2 year tot and parent/guardian
Pointe offered upon assessment of student for grade IV recreational level & intensive III ballet & up

Recreational Level Dance Program
The recreational dance program teaches the basic principles and terminology in a variety of dance styles. Dance helps develop a healthy body to go with a positive attitude about one's self. The dance programs are designed to offer basic classes at every level of ability from ages 2 to adult. The teachers encourage strong group values as well as aid each student in developing their own individual goals.

At Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance our recreational dance students enjoy the highest quality of instruction by our professionally trained teachers. Our teachers have regular police checks done, like a day school. Unlike other dance instruction programs we do not have senior students or teenagers teaching our recreational dance classes. Even our 2 year old students benefit from the highest quality of dance instruction.

Students are placed according to age and prior experience. 
Classes are held Monday through Sunday in Etobicoke and Monday through Saturday in Mississauga, with a variety of options to choose from throughout the week. All programs are based on a set syllabus to ensure that a consistently high standard of instruction is maintained throughout all levels. We use the first 4 to 6 weeks of a child's enrolment in any class to ensure that your child is in the best level for their ability.

The teachers provide each student in the Recreational Division with two written evaluations per year. These reports provide students and parents with useful information on each individual’s progress.

Students are offered the opportunity to participate in a year end performance which takes place in June at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga. The parent & tot program does not participate in this show.

Class Schedules
Classes are very child specific to age and experience. This upcoming 2018-2019 year we will be making our schedule available for online viewing and registration.
